In january I will get my new Imac with thunderbolt.
What do I need to be able to watch HD preview on FCPX?
Can it be done with the Apple Thunderbolt display?
Do I need something in-between?
If yes, will a Led TV work?
Thanks

You "should" be able to just use a Thunderbolt to HDMI cable to your LED HDTV, if you are not planning on buying a "true" video monitor (which cost $$$$).

If you want to buy a "true" video monitor with SDI connections, then you would need a thunderbolt video box such as those from BlackMagic Design or other high end video gear manufacturers.
