Hello
I've switched to SSD + HD in my MBP. I'd like to keep the HD sleeping (spin down) as much as possible to save battery.
I've made some smart file distribution between the disks..
Now i'd like to have an application to monitor if the HD is spinning or not.
I'm using SpindownHD, taken from CHUD Utils, but i'd like to know if there is another one, to put for example in the top bar or in the dock.
Or if the state can be checked by smartmon-tools (i didnt find the right chioce).

Moreover, is there a way to put the hd to sleep MANUALLY (for example i say : SLEEP NOW, and it does) ? :)

Thanks dude
Regards
