HD TV show bought from itunes won't play on HDCP-capable external monitor

Hello all,

I just bought a new monitor, Samsung 2443BW, which is supposed to be HDCP-compliant. I connected the monitor to my macbook pr through the apple mini-displayport to DVI adapter. When I try to play a HD tv show from my itunes library on the external screen, itunes says that i should disconnect all non-hdcp external monitors. I know I can play the SD version of the video, but I'm wondering why the HD version doesn't work... Any ideas?
