By my calculations the HD video on iPhone 4 takes up 79.86 MB / MIN or 4792 MB / Hour.

Thanks for posting this. I've been wondering how much space the video would take up and was concerned about the fact that they didn't push out a 64GB model. I can live with ~5GB/hr.

Now I wonder how much space is required for iMovie editing. Do you have to have 10GB free to actually splice and work with 1 hr of footage to get a final result? Is the output from iMovie compressed further?
