HD Videos on iPhone 4

If the iPhone 4 can shoot HD videos it stands to reason that I can sync HD videos on to it. So I'm wondering now that HD videos can go onto TVs iPads & iPhones is there any reason to have a SD version and HD version of a movie?

I've converted most of my movies into both HD & SD (and a couple of things I bought from the iTunes store comes with both) and so I'm wondering if I might as well delete my SD content once I get the new iPhone 4.

I think your looking a little too deep into this iPhone 4 thing. SD will be around forever. People in projects can't afford HD. And there will always be projects
