Hdd crash

I have had a crash on a macbook.
Just spinning Circle, wont boot to desktop.
It wont let me verify or repair from the install disk.

I get a "Keys out of order"

I am wondering if there is a way I can get some data off the drive?

Replace the drive. Do a fresh install. Grab a USB to Sata adapter and see if you can access the files.

If not put the HDD in an air tight freezer bag and pop it in the freezer for about an hour. Then reconnect and try your luck. Might sound ridiculous but it worked for me and many others.
