HDD Enclosure Suggestions

Hello,

I have been looking very hard for a HDD enclosure that will fulfill a bunch of my nit-picky requirements, but have had little success. I'm hoping somebody here may have some insight. (Attention Mods: If this is the wrong place for this question, please feel free to move it.)

Here's what I am looking for:

-USB 2.0, e-SATA, Firewire (Regular and 800)

-1TB Drive Support

-Internal Power Supply (Meaning the DC Transformer is located inside and it just takes a "figure 8" style power cord like this:http://www.radioshack.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2103022&cp=&sr=1&origkw=figure+8+plug&kw=figure+8+plug&parentPage=search)

-Ideally [but I don't hold out much hope for this one], a rugged rubberized outer finish like this: http://www.lacie.com/us/products/product.htm?pid=10722

I know that all of this together is kind of a tall order.

I truly appreciate any suggestions!!!

Check out the enclosures that TigerDirect.com has. It is rare to find USB/eSATA/FW but they can be found. As for 1TB support, as long as the internal connection is SATA there should be no problem.

I hate TigerDirect. Such incompetence in there. I prefer Newegg.com myself. I must say, I have not seen a beast that fits all your requirements. Good luck.

If you find you just want to meet some of the requirements, the last enclosure I got was an Icy Dock. REALLY nice. Easy in&out of drives without a ****load of enclosure disassembly.

im a hard disk enclosures freak and as far i know you will never find a 3,5' enclosure with this characteristic..
