I currently have a 7200 RPM 500 GB drive in one of the new 2011 15" MBP that has all my files and is set up how I like it. I also have a high end 15" 2011 MBP. If I pop the HDD out of the base model and put it in the high end model (to replace the 750GB 5400 RPM drive) will it boot and work without problems?
This may be a noob question but I wondered if the spec difference would somehow result in everything not working perfectly since I simply swapped the drives between the two systems. I was hoping to do this rather than wipe the drive...put it in the new high end 15" model...and endure the time capsule process again.
