So I got tired of looking at the boring old external HDD icon and thought "hey wouldn't it be cool if the icon corresponded with the drive?"
I originally just made the Samsung Momentus icon for my external, I took a photograph and got workin' and here we are. I did originally make a 2.5in version of the icon with the sata port in front but I felt it didn't feel like a real Apple icon so I used the old drive.
I made the Corsair one with a picture off google, along with the others. The SanDisk one was a Plus SSD but I photoshopped the Plus off so it could be used generically
If you'd want one for your HDD, just attach clear top picture of the drive and I'll put it together
(Just a few, there's so many different drives out there)
Also sorry if some icons look a bit blurry or messed up when viewed up close. I did the best I could without actually taking photos of the drive. Google had some high res pictures of some drives but then very low res ones(for example, Seagate Nytro SSD was very low res & blurry). I also had to cut out the white on some pictures. None of this is noticeable in real world use, but I figured I'd say something before I get comments.
