Hi guys what's up,

I've upgraded my old 80GB hdd in my MAcbook Pro to a newer bigger one - yay! But now I can't seem to access my older one - oh no!

It's a 2.5in drive .. i have it hooked up to a sata/mini usb adapter that I removed from an old broken external HDD. The light comes on the adapter, but the hard drive doesn't spin.

I know the adapter is working because I tried it on the broken external one, and it click-click-clicked.

I was hoping to get all my files transferred back, using it as an external drive, but now i'm a bit stuck..

Thanks peeps!

Solved:

I switched the miniUSB/USB cable to another one and it worked.
