Hi all,
I've read few articles about how to partition and resize HDD partitions but I haven't understood a couple of things.
I have an external 2TB drive partitioned in three ways: a 1TB which I use for my TM backups, a 900GB I used for various staff and a 100GB exFAT partition, in the order they're written. Now I'd like to delete the third one and reduce at the bare minimum if not delete the second partition, the 900GB one. I know that deleting it would be simple with Disk Utility, but my problem comes with resizing it, for example, from 900Gb to 300GB, and therefore giving more space to the first partition for backups.
I've read articles that said I'd have to simply input the new "size" in Disk Utility, others that said I'd have to delete the partition and re-create it... I'm quite confused.
Can anyone help me here? Thanks
