Hdd space lost after format/repartition?

I was having an issue when I started my Mbp I would see a blinking question mark. I booted from the iOS disk and tried to to repair the hdd but was receiving an error. So I clicked the Partition tab and went to "partition 1" under volume sceme which seemed to repair the issue and let's me reinstall iOS but the size is 749.81 when it originally was originally 750.16gb? Is there a way to fix this?
