You might think I have the problem where I can't unmount from Finder because some other application is in use.
It's not that. I had that problem before.
Just a short story before this happened:
I was on my way to Korea, so I thought I would buy any 500GB HDD, for under 60$.
After buying it, I installed it in my computer, and then put my original-internal-HDD into a casing.
.....two month later.....
I came back to Japan right after summer vacation. When I got back home, plugged the original-internal-HDD using a proper cable, etc etc. It took about 6 sec before the error message pop-up, and tell me that I had to either Eject, Ignore, or Initialize.
I chose Initialize, and it opened up Disk Utility for me.
Then, I chose verify, repair, verify and repair, partition, erase, and everything I could to fix it.
However, whenever the process shows it's unmounting the disk, it gives me an error.
Any help?
P.S. the hdd was Fujitsu 160GB. Should I bring the computer with the original HDD inside to Apple? I still have my warranty till February.
