HDD upgrade (SATA 1.5 v. 3.0)

Will a SATA 3.0 work with the older Intel MBP that has SATA 1.5? (my sig below)

The hard drives I'm looking to use for upgrading are:

They'll both work fine. SATA 3.0 is back-compatible with SATA 1.5.
