HDD weird sound

Furthermore it lags a lot! I can't even use Finder without lagging, do you think the driver is failing?

Yep... sounds like that drive is headed for a dirt nap.

If you have not already, you should make yourself a backup then start the hunt for a new drive.

Make a backup and buy another drive, yours is just about to kick the bucket.
