HDDVD playback

Hey guys,

Been trying to find out how to play hd dvd movie folder thats been dumped into my new imac 2.4Ghz from a friend of mine. The playback should be stutter-free, but still not sure which program should i use that will allow me to watch the hddd or blu-ray movies from my hard drive (they are 25Gb+ sizes).

I'm not sure if this is the right subforum for this question, but feel free to move the topic to where it belongs.

Not sure if VLC supports EVOBs yet.

Tried vlc and dvd player. Not supported. I know on a PC Power DVD would read .EVO hddvd files. There has to be something on a mac that would do it.

currently you can't watch either hi-def format on a mac unless you bootcamp into windows. rumor is that the leopard dvd player will play them.
