Hey guys, I have a late 2010 MBP running Mavericks. For the past 4 years, I have been able to pass audio through my HDMI when plugging up to my TV. Watching shows, youtube, etc. All of a sudden, the audio stopped working. I did not change any settings on the MBP or the TV...I still get video...

I have checked the sound output tab, and "Internal Speakers" is the only option I get. I have also checked the MIDI settings and I don't get an option for HDMI when I plug it in...I have heard of AVB, but have no idea what that means in relation to getting audio out through HDMI since I've never touched that aspect before...please let me know if you have any thoughts...I am currently using a PA speaker for TV audio and it sounds horrible!!
