HDMI audio distorted after 55 minutes.

Anytime I hook my rMbp to my tv via hdmi, at the 55 minute point the audio goes to complete garbage and is useless. Anyone know what could be causing this. I'm new to a Mac and don't know where to start to figure this out. Any help would be a greatly appreciated.

Also, I've tired 2 separate video software withy the same result. I switched to Mac because I've always heard their hardware was better and the fanbase was so awesome. I hope you guys can redeem my hopes.

I had a very similar issue last night, except my audio completely cut out about 50 minutes in. Tried resetting PRAM as that has fixed it in the past but it did not resolve the issue.
