I have a Sharp Aquos lc-c4655u (purchased in 2009 I believe), and was wondering if it has hdmi-cec capability (for use with the new Siri remote). I've googled it, and looked through a copy of the manual online with no luck. My cable remote (that came with the cable box) can control the volume and power of my tv. Is this indicative of the tv having hdmi-cec?

I am clueless with such things so any help would be great, or I'll just find out in a couple of weeks I suppose.

Thank you.

Hi,
I'm using Aquos as well. If it's HDMI-CEC compatible there'll be "AQUOS LINK" in Tables of Contents, like this:

Bummer. I think Aquos Link debuted after my purchase. Mind if I ask what year you purchased yours? I wish I could find what hdmi it is using. I read anything after 1.2a should be good for hdmi-cec.

Thanks!
