Hello,

I just got an HDMI cable and port for my Mac. I had to get the mini port display that also has an USB cable so that I could transfer sound as well. I hooked everything up and everything worked but my tv blows my screen up so big that only about half the screen shows up on my tv from the center of the computer screen out.

Can somebody tell me how to fix this?

Thanks in advance

have you tried all the different resolution settings?

also your tv in the settings for Input might have a Scan or somthing simialr feature that will scan the input device and match the best resolution

I put the resolution up as high as it would go but it still leaves about an inch and a half of the top cut off, about a half an inch on either side cut off and probably about another inch and a half of the bottom cut off.

Is there anyway to get it all on the screen?

did you see if your TV has any settings for Scan input source?

maybe your TV is higher or lower resolution than your MB, you have to try all the settings to you find one that looks good
