HDMI out problem

Ive connected my rmbp to a samsung lcd 46" screen via hdmi several times.
For no reason now it shows a weird darkened redish tint.
Ive googled it and others seem to have a similar problem.
I have switchres installed to be able to switch between retina and regular resolution.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Thats what i thought too.
I will try that and see if it works. I hate to remove switchres. Really helps with the rmbp scrolling lag.
