Hi,
I recently (and perhaps maybe idiotically) replaced the fan on my macbook. I replaced the fan successfully but now my HDMI port and camera doesn't work.
I do know that when I replaced the fan, a socket on the main board was a tad loose but not detached which had the isight cable plugged in. My bluetooth still works fine.

Any ideas on what might be the issue and how to fix it?

Thanks

You either shorted something out on the logicboard or knocked some connectors out. I suspect since the HDMI is soldered onto the logic board, you may have damaged the board in some ways replacing the fan. :(

Ahh damn. I'm guessing by the sad face that means a full board replacement rather than being able to solder bits?

You have just discovered the hazards of "do it yourself" MacBook repairs... :(
