Hello forum, a little help would be appreciated. I have a mac and ipad 2 and want to get apple tv but have an old style tv. It's a huge screen and works fine so have no other reason to upgrade. Will this hdmi - component cable work (Specs below)?. It's the line about needing a device that will convert digital to analogue that worries me. I don't know what model my tv is just that its toshiba and 100hz dynamic frame scan bought over 5 years ago. Will this be likely to be able to convert the signal?

Thanks in advance :apple: :)

HDMI to 5 RCA Audio AV Cable 1.5m Converter 1080p GOLD - Brand new,Quality material made. - HDMI Male to 5 RCA RGB Audio Video AV Cable.Support 480i, 480p, 720p, 1080i, 1080p - High definition video output - Thick and flexible PVC jacket with color coded connectors for easy connection. - Cable Length: 5 feet (approx 1.5 m). - Two top quality ferrite cores - Cable jacket covered by Nylon tube Notice: This cable does not have an IC chipset to convert digital signals to analog signals, so it only works for the devices which itself can convert digital signals to analog signals, Such as SET TOP BOX(STB),projectors,Digital HD TV, PDPTV,RPTVs I

The model should be listed on the back of the TV, like in the following example:

I guess, you don't have its manual or box anymore?
