I have an LG B6 OLED, which is supposed to be able to display hdr.

However, when I toggle hdr on in Apple TV settings, the Apple tv doesn’t like it and the screen goes black.

I’ve tried two different hdmi ports, both on the side of the tv, neither likes hdr.

Does anyone else have this issue, either with LG or another TV set?

Yes, it should be turned on for any port that has a HDR abled device on the other end. if ARC is the only TV HDMI port you're using, only turn it on for HDMI 2, which is the port for ARC. Also I would recommend against turning it on for ports that aren't in use or doesn't have an HDR abled device on the other end though. Your TV will restart when you change this setting so don't be alarmed.

This can be found in your TV setting under "General".

Hi-

When I set the tv to deep color mode, it won’t read the tv. The same thing happens when I try to set to hdr in the Apple TV interface. When I try doing
Both at the same time it also doesn’t work. I’ve tried turning the setting off and on several times. Any ideas? Thank you so much

Do you have a premium certified HDMI cable? Normal HDMI cable won't pass HDR.
