HDR on YouTube under Chrome

Hi guys,

I just noticed that there's HDR support under Chrome for YouTube videos. Is this indeed new because of Big Sur or did I just not notice it before (I don't watch YouTube videos that often under Chrome)? Is there any infos about this feature online? Will it also come to Safari?
