I just bought my
tv last Saturday and hooked it up to my Sony HDTV (a few years old - no HDMI, but supports 720p/1080i) and I had one problem that's been bugging me. When I chose 720p or above for resolution the top of the screen was distorted (it was angled and shaky). This only got worse as I went from 720p to 1080i. The 50GHz options didn't work either. So I clicked 480p and that worked, and it's a temporary fix...but my question is:
why is 480p (non-hidef) the only resolution working, even if I have an HDTV? Is it possibly the wires?
Thanks.
