Headers and footers in Word 2008

Hi,

In a long five-section Word document, I need the same heading on each even-numbered page and a different one on each odd-numbered page. Word inserts the headings properly, but it omits the page number in the footer on each even-numbered page. What steps should I do to make page numbering consecutive in each footer?
