We am going on vacation with my parents for their 30th anniversary celebration. We are going to be headed to Denver, Salt Lake City, and Yellowstone for sure.

Any thing we need to see for sure?

Any tips?

Best routes to drive?

We know we want to see a lot of animals if possible, and pretty scenery..Going to see the Snake River and Tetons for sure. We are flying into Denver, and then have 10 days to spend before having to return to Denver to fly out.

Thanks!

Old Faithful is really boring and the area around it looks like a tourist trap. Don't **** with the buffalo, they don't show tons of videos of tourists getting gored and killed for nothing.

Yellowstone is fantastic! The geology, the scenery, the subtle and sometimes unsubtle odour of Sulphur, etc. There are maps that show you around, go exploring. I camped there a few days and really enjoyed it.

Indeed, it is very easy to find animals in Yellowstone, Moose, bears, buffalo, just drive around on the main roads near sunset and look for the groups of cars pulled off the side of the road.

Been to yellowstone twice and hopefully going back next summer.
