Hey everyone....

I am going to New York next week on my honeymoon.... and was wondering if i can buy the snow leopard install disc while i am there and install it on my Mac back here in the UK...

Is there any issue with where you buy it or is it the same no matter where you buy and you just choose localisation of where you live????

I only ask as the the price of here is insane.... £25 when the US gets it for $29,
about 1 third less!!!

PS do i need any proof of owning Leopard Retail already or that i have a mac that came with Leopard preinstalled or is it just that you need leopard 10.5 installed first??

Yes the disks are all the same. The price difference is down do VAT and import tax.

Import tax is the very reason why apple should offer a download version of it... as big as it may be i would like to get the same price for my purchase as the US does..... makes me wanna move! :)
