Just got my iPhone 4S yesterday upgrading from a 4. Tried listening to a few songs on iTunes through the headphone jack, and the playback is noticeably different compared to my prior iPhones and iPods and other mp3 devices. I can only describe the sound as noticeably "thinner" with very very weak bass. I don't think this is subjective. Either some setting (EQ is off and left alone, import settings were not messed with, etc.) is changed or the device is defective? I tried multiple headphones, including earbuds that gave me plenty bass on other devices.

Before I overreact and contact Apple, just wanted to see if anyone else with a 4S can confirm this "thin, lacking bass" headphone playback...I already did searches online, and found nothing with the 4s regarding this. I am in a remote Canadian location with no Apple store to take this to, so any "support" help from Apple will probably require shipping this away and waiting...
