Headphone Line In to Dock Output

I’m essentially looking for an app that will use the headphone socket as a line in and then output the audio through the dock at the bottom.

I’ve got a DAB radio in my car which is an FM transmitter which is shocking in my area. I’ve got an iPod connector in my car but obviously I can’t connect this to my DAB Radio line out. So I thought if I were to run the audio into the headphone socket on my iPhone, which I know will take audio in, and then play it through the dock it should work.

I’ve tried searching for apps that would do this but I can’t word the criteria right. Does anyone know of any that would solve this? Or any other creative solution?
