Headphones with remote for controlling iPhone

APART FROM APPLE, are there any alternatives to the In Ear headphones with remote and Mic that are compatible with the iPhone 3G??

I'm not necessarily looking for 'In Ear' ones either. open headphones or sports model would probably be ok too.

My wife will be getting an 'upgrade to her iPod' for Xmas (read IPHONE). She has actually just asked for a remote for her iPod, however she always complains that she can't hear her phone when she's out running!!

I picked these up: http://www.buy.com/prod/maximo-ip-h...3g-blackberry-iphone/q/loc/101/206870045.html from Buy.com last week, they are 1/2 price from what they used to be. They aren't the best in the world, but they are a huge step up from the included headset.

There is also an in-ear variety for $20 more, which had I seen I probably would have purchased instead.

I think zagg (www.zagg.com) has tangle free, in ear, and remote/mic headphones, they are called the z buds.

I've been using V-Moda Vibe Duos since February, and I love them.

The control button on the mic allows you to control your music and answer and end a call.
