Headphones

Hi guys, I am new here


I bought my first Mac about a month ago, it is a Macbook pro Retina 15"

I use it for work and to play league of legends

I have been using my iphone headphones with the MBPR and dam I cant keep using this headphones lol it makes my ears cry lol

So I have been looking at the apple store for a good pair of headphone for less than 250 and so far I have found a few but since the headphones that apple sells are for music, I am not sure how they will sound while playing LoL

The reason I dont want to buy gaming headsets is because most of then are USB powered and I only have 2 usb on the MBPR and both of them are currently taken by an external HDD and Logitech gaming mouse G700.

Can anyone please give me some advice in which headphone should I buy? Please

I got this Headsets http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002Q8IHDQ/ref=oh_details_o00_s00_i01?ie=UTF8&psc=1 and this adapter http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002ZNJH36/ref=oh_details_o00_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
But for some reason while using that adapter I cant get the mic to work

I ended up buying the same adapter but USB and now it works perfect.
