With the new headphones rolling out for the iPhone and iPod what will they do with the old ones? Will they discontinue them? Because i thought every apple product had a 1 year warranty, and if they discontinue the old headphones and roll out the new ones and your old pair breaks will they replace them with the new headphones?!

are you referring to the new ear buds? the apple site says they are only compatible with the ipod/itouch not the iphone.

I'm hoping Apple bundles these headphones with future iPhones and iPod touches models. As of right now, it's an additional accessory you can buy. Similar to the in-ear headphones that you can buy separately.

If you have a regular Apple headphone, Apple will replace them with the same headphones, since that would be fair to both you and Apple. Also, the regular headphones will not be replaced soon since they are used for other lower model iPods.
