I was watching CES on Spike and a company called Sonic Emotion introduced a 3D bar speaker for your television which looks pretty nice.

But they also introduced an App for the iPhone and iPad that plays your music in what they claim is absolute 3D. It syncs your iTunes music and plays it through their App. Its primarily for your headphones but i think it will work with my car stereo too It's free right now.

I've only just now downloaded it and went right to Pink Floyd to give it a good test. I dunno about 3D but it does give the music more depth.

Anyone try this out yet? Anyone know how it works? P.S. I have no affiliation with this company or App, I don't even know who they are.

Ok, I'm sold, very cool App. I've tried it with two different headphones, each one responds very differently. This is more than just playing with your equalizer but I'd love to know a bit more about how it works.
