I have a mac pro and just went out and bought a 2nd ACD 30 today. The other one I am going to have replaced thru apple care since it's dimmed a lot and it's burning images into the screen.
I and other designers know, the ACD's are VERY high quality screens that do what we need them to. Realistic colors for print and web.
I've been holding off 6 months for a 30" display. No way I'm buying into that kind of cash with Apple's current offering. With HDDVD now dead and blu=ray king, perhaps apple will now move forward and update.
I'm waiting - if nothing by summer, I'll probably buy an eizo or other nice 30" panel.
Well, they have refurbished 30" display for $1,499 instead of $3,299 at the Apple Store. That's a significant saving and probably brings the 30" closer to the prices of the competition...
