I understand that you are able to connect apps and devices to the health app, and until that happens it won't have much data, but shouldn't it have steps from the m7 co-processor?

I ask because when I open other step apps it says "importing steps from the last 7 days" so the OS has to have that data. Why is that not showing up in health?

yes, I understand this is beta and maybe it will show up in the future, but I was curious if anyone knew if I was doing anything wrong.

Apple hasn't said whether the Health app will draw data from the M7. So far they've only discussed it importing data from other apps.

As of now, it's not drawing any data from the M7 for anyone, and since no apps have been updated to supply their data to the Health app, there's no data to feed into the app.

This is what I assumed. I guess I will just have to wait until I get my iwatch this fall. :D
