Hi all

When installing new health related 3rd party apps (for example pedometer ++) users are asked to allow the app to read and/or write health data on iPhone.

Apple health already does a great job in writing most of the data, I simply want 3rd party apps to better visualise the data on my phone or watch. What are the benefits of enabling writing of data for 3rd party apps with similar functionality? I’ve come to trust the Apple data and wouldn’t want data accuracy to be compromised by any sub-par 3rd party apps.

cheers
