Playing around with the phone last night and imagine my surprise to find the Health app was tracking my steps and distance. I have NEVER been into the health app before and don't own an  watch.

1. Why did it do this without my okay?
2. Is there a way to keep it from doing this?
3. Are there other apps performing functions without my knowledge/okay?

iOS is 12.2

Thank you. This is one of the things I like less and less with iOS. It's getting too complicated to keep up with. Thank goodness for MR.
