WatchOS 10.3 on Series 8.

I want to get an alert when I am doing a Workout and my heart rate exceeds a certain rate.
I don’t need an alert for my heart rate being below a rate or within a range.
Only when I’ve exceeded a specific level. (In my case 130 bpm).

I understand there is a ‘High Heart Rate’ setting in Heart.
That won’t help me. That notification is generated after 10 minutes of Inactivity.
I’m only interested in an Alert when I’m actively performing a Workout.

Thanks for any help or advice!

For a workout such as an outdoor run you can specify that you want to keep within a certain range (Zone 2, for example). The watch will then tell you when you leave that zone.

Not precisely what you need but hopefully close enough.

Thanks, Howard2k.
You are right. That isn’t what I was looking for.
I already tried those. I don’t need the ‘low’ and ‘in’ alerts. Only the ‘high’.

I’m trying the ‘Custom Range’ alert. Setting the ‘low’ to the lowest available.
And the ‘high’ to 130. So far it has worked one out of one times. We’ll see…

After working with this and thinking about what I’d really like I submitted a Feedback for the Heart section of WatchOS.
What I asked for was an additional Notification allowing me to set a Heart Rate.
Whenever my Heart Rate exceeded that number I’d get a Notification.
The Notification would be triggered if Inactive, Active or performing a Workout.
