Hello all, I just got handed down one of the highly sought after iwatch2 models. I am using it with a iPhone 11 Pro. Where I need help is that I am having trouble finding an iPhone App that will allow me to use the heart rate from the iWatch and generate a graph of the HR on my phone. I don't want to pay monthly subscription ( im frugal not cheap :) ) I like to monitor my heart rate while bike riding. Does anyone know of an app that can do this ? I don't look at the graph/data until after the ride. Thank you for your time and help, its appreciated.

@Howard2k - WOW thank you very much for the great info, accurate and straight to the point, thank you for your time and help. Just what I was looking for.

Check out Heart Analyzer:- https://apps.apple.com/gb/app/heart-analyzer-cardio-monitor/id1006420410
I use it continually.
This is direct from the Apple Watch screen.

Thanks…..👍 Hope you also use the Home Screen Widget on your iPhone as well.
It is great to instantly see a chart in a widget and one tap on the widget takes you straight to today's graph readout.

So, I downloaded Heart Analyzer, and am hoping it will do what I need. I emailed the developer, but it's nighttime in the UK, so I may not hear until tomorrow, so since I am eager to know NOW, I will ask:
1) I am not finding a manual for this app.
2) From the FAQs:

LiveHR on the Watch?

To enable the Heart Analyzer app on Apple Watch to measure your heart rate live, toggle it on in the app settings on your Apple Watch.--

I thought I was pretty adept with my Apple Watch, but I have no idea how to locate the app settings for this app.

3) I have a tendency toward atrial fibrillation, so on my other wrist, I wear my Fitbit Versa, which continuously monitors my heart rate, not just every 5 minutes or whatever the interval is, and will signal me if my pulse rate gets about the alarm point I set for it, 120. I can't figure out if I can get this app to do that.

Thanks in advance, all!

LiveHR is under Settings on the Watch.
1. To get to it you first open the App on the watch.
2. Next you need to use your finger and scroll from the right to left on the screen until you get to page 3 (Page 1 is the opening screen, page 2 is Workouts whilst page 3 is Settings).
3. Finally, under Settings tap on LiveHR. Now you need to Enable it on the screen. This will then automatically take a reading of your heart rate when the app launches.

I have one compilation that shows my heart rate and how minutes since the last update. Another compilation that shows my current heart rate and day range.
It is extremely easy to update if the rate has not been updated for several minutes. Tap on the compilation and press the Orange refresh button.

Many thanks to both of you…good to find out how to access those settings, Beards.

It still doesn’t appear to be updating my heart rate unless I tap on the screen, but I’ll keep playing with it.
