Hi,
I noticed my heart rate sensor activates itself almost every 2-3 minutes, draining my battery. As soon as I unplug the charger, it evens lights up instantly! I tried to erase my Apple Watch and restore but didn't work.

Happening to somebody else?

That's how the watch detects if it's on your wrist. If you take it off, it looks for a pulse. If it doesn't find one it will request your passcode. It's not draining the battery any more than it's suppose to.

Ive had this happen to me a few times. Took the watch off my wrist after a workout and the ligths stayed on. Wouldnt turn off until i toggled the heart rate sensor a few times.

My husbands kept illuminating constantly. The only thing that fixed it was a hard reset. If you are updated to the latest software, and have tried repairing it and hard resetting it, and it's still having the issue, you'll probably have to contact Apple or go in to a store.
