Does anyone else have trouble with getting heart rate warnings while sleeping? My resting heart rate is in the low 40’s, but while sleeping, it often drops below 40, triggering an alarm which wakes me up. I know that I can turn off the alarm (which is what I will probably do), but I would actually prefer to keep the alarm on during the day. Since my heart rate is already on the low side, I would like to know if it ever drops too low.

Does it even give you an alert when your Watch is in Sleep mode?

I’m not sure about that yet. I was just worried about it. It happens occasionally when I have a nap (maybe 1 out of 10 times). Last night was the first time I tried out sleep mode, and my heart rate only went down to 41.

I think if you continue using Sleep, it won’t give those notifications as it puts the watch into Do Not Disturb. My rate hasn’t gone below my set limit either since I started using Sleep so I can’t say for certain.

I did a brief search on this, and found this link:

It says that heart alarms will go off, even in do not disturb mode. And I think sleep mode just sets do not disturb.

I don't know if this is right or not. If the heart alarms do go off, I suspect I'll find out within the next week or so.

FWIW ... I have had hundreds of low heart rate warnings since I started sleeping with my watch on, and I am pretty sure the alert has not gone off. So in sleep mode, the phone collects the heart rate warnings, but does so silently.
