So far I haven't seen much about the heat the new MBP (Retina) puts out under load. The only real comment I've seen about it was this:
Heat and Noise
You barely notice them at first, but the bottom of the new MacBook Pro has airflow vents on either side to keep the new MacBook Pro running cool. Apple has also paid great attention to noise; asymmetrical blades spread out the frequency of the whirring to keep the notebook quiet. During our testing we could barely hear the system working while editing an HD video clip in iMovie. The notebook also remained cool to the touch, but we'll update this review once we've completed our formal measurements with a laser thermometer.

Anyone with one of these have anything they can share with the temperatures under load? I'm hoping to order the high end (16GB/768GB) in the next couple of weeks...

You'll have to wait until more users have them in hand. They were only announced yesterday and very few have actually gotten them in hand.
