I installed iStat Nano to monitor the temps in my mbp, and I have to ask... Is 65 degrees for the cpu and 54 for the gpu acceptable? I am plugged into an external monitor, and am running iTunes, Firefox, last.fm, and Vuze. Is it normal to be this hot? I feel like I have a heating pad on my lap.

Well, I kinda left out the main reason that I was posting this... It was getting really hot, and then just froze up. Does this happen often?

65C Does not sound hot enough to cause it to freeze. My CPU has gotten to 108C and the computer has been fine. Has it frozen multiple times?

No, this is the first time. It might have just been a fluke, but since this is my first Mac (not to mention the most expensive computer that I've ever owned), I just wanted to make sure that it was ok.
