Heating up when downloading from App Store

Anyone else facing this issue? I have an iPhone 5 ios 7.1.2, it's jailbroken. My phone heats up a lot while downloading anything from the AppStore. I use 3G restrictor as I don't have an accessible wifi. Any ideas?? Plz help. Thanx.

It's normal for a phone to heat up when making heavy use of the cell radio.
