What is it just velcro? It's a good concept but why not just buy a $2 strip of velcro from Home Depot?

I don't know about how familliar you are with the simbolics of Hedgehog that carries an Apple (Try and google it) I guess it's really just an European thing. The simbolism of it is really what this is all about, next to the practical value.

For sure a strap of Velcro could do the job but you'll need two strips to use your iPad in Horizontal and Vertical position. The concept of Hedgie makes this possible with a circle shaped application. And it also looks quite cute on the wall instead of a regular strip of Velcro. The best thing about it is that it is thin and you can still put your iPad in your leather case (As most people do).

...anyway it's a matter of choice! Some people don't like to put anything on their precious device and others choose practicality over purity
