When checking on my Windows machine, HEIC-files from my iPhone XS seems to be stored as 32bit. Any comments on this? JPEG is reported as 24-bit. Does this HEIC-file actually contains more data than a JPEG would?
When googling, people still claims HEIC are 24-bit.?

Ps, anyone found a way of opening HEIC files in Photoshop Elements on a Windows machine these days without first going through a conversion process?
