HEIC/HEIF images with Aperture

Hi all

I still use Aperture to catalog and edit pictures for work as I like its organisational interface, and would like to keep using it with iOS 11. Does anybody know the compatibility between Aperture and the upcoming image format?

Edit: I use the latest versions of macOS, Aperture (lol) and I have an iPhone 7.
