Height of Thunderbolt Display

Is the height of the Thunderbolt display that appears in the specs (19.35") include the stand or is that the height of the display itself?

Trying to figure out if I get one how it will fit on my desk/be mounted on the wall.

Just under 16", but there is ventilation along the bottom so you want some room for airflow beneath.

I know just what you're thinking. In real life use, you will notice the display is a little too low and your neck always bent slightly down.

I have seen numerous work environments where they remedy this by elevating the iMac or Thunderbolt Display with a little block, cube-like, platform.
